Evaluation after M.W. Wolf’s first month on X.
M.W. Wolf Ltd is a new brand of dark adult fiction, and we’re new to X.
I began writing during a nasty belt of insomnia and mental illness in August 2014. What I discovered, deep in the fractures of my mind, was an endless Megaverse, bursting at the seams. I picked at that tiny scab until the Megaverse flowed out, growing as it washed away the retainer walls of my mind, it’s lifeblood oozing, a dam released. Much like the elevator scene from The Shining, Stanley Kubrick’s adaptation of Stephen King’s 1977 masterful novel of the same name.
Now, a decade later, there is no going back. No putting the bunny back in the box, no gluing humpty together again. We’re ten books deep, yet we’ll keep digging, keep excavating. We’ll be working at this writing thing until I’m dead and gone. I’m not yet 40 so I hope for at least another 40 years.
We have nine fiction books, one nonfiction science book and a children’s book already written, not yet published but that will come soon. The M.W. Wolf Megaverse of Fiction will be a global brand in years to come. We’ve got extensive ideas and big aspirations. We’re here to build a Wolf Pack of loyal and constant readers. We’ll be a community engaging with the fans and readers, via many mediums and events. M.W. Wolf isn’t just books and AI generated images on X to portray our stories. It’s so much more! It’s a family, A Wolf Pack, an immersive journey together. We have plans to engage with the community and to bring them into the experience with us.
Here’s my evaluation after our first month on X:
X is pretty cool, totally liberal, free, anything goes. But porn! Come on, it’s too early in the morning to be wondering across X and happening upon this shit. I do wonder how available this is to children. If I’m happening across it whilst drinking my first Sunday morning coffee, what barriers to content are there, and what impression is it having on the youth?
1, I like X, I sometimes like porn, I don’t like them together at 9am on God’s morning.
2, X is cool, I feel more connected & able to reach a bigger audience, which I’m hoping to reward & convert into an M.W. Wolf fanbase once we’re published. Two reward packages have already been promised to two of our followers on X.
3, Being on X is eating into my writing time, we’ll have to manage this!
4, I probably should have joined years ago, thus I’m late to the playground, any help fitting in, spreading our influence, and in meeting the rest of the gang on X is much appreciated. Toss our name about like it’s a proxy bomb ready to explode, because it is!
5, I’m glad to meet you all! I’m excited about being on X and thrilled to dip my toes into the murky waters. I’m nervous to see what we pull out of the abyss of this fluid web. I don’t want to be dragged into negative horseshit. I’ll work on this. Mostly, I’m optimistic about M.W. Wolf’s future and our influence on X and on the future of the publishing industry.
